Just like with Vanilla server you can make a launch.command file Heres a one I threw collectively based on the code above

Just unzip and drop it into the identical folder you've gotten the FTB.jar in and double click on. If you happen to get an error saying it would not have permission, open a new terminal window sort in without the quotes "sudo chmod +x (drag launch.command here)" then hit enter. Be certain you might have an area between the "+x" and the file path.

Have any of you tried merely starting it with this: Code: cd ~/Desktop/ftb/ java -jar FTB_Launcher.jar

This has worked for me. I find it bizarre though that the game cannot run without beginning it this way. minecraft hunger games servers Especially because it would not throw any errors, but merely closes... Have anyone investigated the trigger for the odd behavior when launching the jar by double clicking it, or is it still a thriller why it acts the best way it does?

I do know of the issues with LWJGL, have been following the development of that thread for a while.. wanna get the new version. The one that ships with Minecraft has a nasty memoryleak when it comes to age-changing in Mystcraft (probably also Nether/Finish, however not sure)

You possibly can open the terminal in two ways: - Go to Finder, click on "Functions", scroll down to "Utilities" and double click on to open it. Scroll right down to "Terminal" and double click on it.- Hit Command + Space (to open spotlight) and type "Terminal" (without the quotes).
