This launcher was updated in 2020 to utilize primarily fake Java Native Interface to communicate with Minecraft: Bedrock Edition. Additionally shortly after the release of the first 64bit versions of the Google Play Store, this previously 32bit-only Launcher was ported to arm64 and x86_64.



AppImageP



You can download prebuilt AppImage binary's that run on linux x86_64 and x86. ATLWOOD After downloading simply open terminal, chmod +x Minecraft_Bedrock_Launcher-x86_64.0.0.661.AppImage and run it. It should be possible to run it by double-clicking using one of the Filemanagers similar to an *.exe file on Windows. Otherwise run it from a Terminal ./Minecraft_Bedrock_Launcher-x86_64.0.0.661.AppImage



If it's your first time you have installed an AppImage and you'd like an Icon in your startmenu



Install AppImageLauncher. Run the AppImage the same way as before. AppImageLauncher will ask for you to integrate it. Press yes to continue.



FlatpakP



You can also install mcpelauncher for Linux via Flathub. First install Flatpak and then start it.



If this is the first time you have installed a Flatpak please logout from your Computer and sign back in to locate the Launcher in your startmenu. To run it, run

Prebuilt macOS binary's are currently available here. Always copy the App to a file that you can write to, or the updater will not work.
